Known for our unique plates-to-share and creative martini menu, The Cellar started as a wine and tapas bar in August 2007. Then, in September 2011, we expanded into a full-service restaurant offering modern fusion cuisine.
In July 2015, long-time executive chef Michael Lanahan and his wife Ellen purchased The Cellar from its original owners. This is when our establishment became a destination restaurant, providing unique dining experiences in downtown Corning’s Gaffer District.
