We wanted to make sure you saw our latest news! America’s Best Restaurants just announced a new stop on our journey around the country to find the best local food joints - COMFORT by the Cross-Eyed Cricket in Evansville, IN on Friday, June 10th, 2022. 

During our visit with owner Joshua Tudela, we will taste-test a few of his must-try menu items, hear his story about how he got started in the restaurant business, and learn just how special COMFORT is.

COMFORT by the Cross Eyed Cricket has been a labor of love and it definitely shows in the flavor of the food, and the smiling faces of the staff. With breakfast all day, as long as classic dishes with a new and refined taste, you can’t go wrong ordering off the COMFORT menu. The location for the restaurant used to house a community staple, and after it had been run down and abandoned, owner Joshua Tuleda saw potential. Two years of hard work became a new community favorite- COMFORT by the Cross Eyed Cricket, and we here at America’s Best Restaurants could not be more excited to dive into the inspiration behind it all.
