HUNTINGTON, WV: – Local restaurant and food truck Truckin’ Cheesy will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants in early September 2022.

America’s Best Restaurants, a national marketing company focusing on local, independently-owned restaurants, will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant on Friday, September 9, 2022. Popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with owner/chef Tyler Shelton about what makes Truckin’ Cheesy a popular spot in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date. 

While Shelton’s food truck has been making the rounds of Huntington for several years, the brick-and-mortar restaurant is a fairly recent endeavor. It has a more extensive menu than the truck, including sixteen versions of mac-and-cheese, and twenty-two different burgers. 

“I feel like we’ve got one of the most unique menus around Huntington, for sure,” says Shelton, who often works 90-hour weeks. “It’s nothing but a labor of love out here. . .it’s my life.”
