Our story of the Vera Cruz Mexican Restaurant begins with the Leons, who opened a small restaurant in Pasadena, California in 1970 called "La Fiesta Grande". The Leons wanted to provide the community with delicious Mexican food at a reasonable price. The restaurant was a huge success, and the Leons decided to move back home after a few years. When their first grandchild was born, they returned to the United States and started the restaurant that is now known as Vera Cruz Mexican Restaurant!
