Arturo Moreno's passion for cooking began humbly — starting in the kitchen as a prep assistant, where he developed a deep appreciation for the art of food. Through hard work, dedication, and years of hands-on experience, he eventually rose to become the head chef at one of Connecticut’s most beloved culinary landmarks, the iconic Tre Scalini Restaurant on Wooster Street. Arturo devoted over 25 years to perfecting his craft there, earning a reputation for quality, consistency, and flavor that left a lasting impression on the community.

In 2019, Arturo took a leap of faith and turned his lifelong dream into reality. Alongside his wife, he proudly opened Coffee Con Cannella, now doing business as Arturo’s Restaurant. This cozy and welcoming space quickly became a local favorite, known for its scratch-made meals and authentic touch.
