About Toast + Tonic Creative Kitchen

Established in 2023 by chef Aimee Filippetti, Toast + Tonic breathes new life into Old Mystic Village with a combo of creative dishes, craft cocktails, and superb sweets baked in-house, giving people a place to gather with a focus on fresh, innovative ingredients, and dessert—always.

Growing up in a household where Mom, Nana, and Grandma were all home bakers, Gail Filippetti was destined to find her way into the restaurant world. For 30 years, she ran her own bookkeeping business, until 10/1/2020, when she became a restaurant owner (thanks to Aimee) and a Grammy (thanks to Oliver) on the same day. When she isn’t running operations at Toast + Tonic, Gail loves to travel, read fiction, collect cookbooks, and create whimsical watercolor paintings that you can find and purchase in our restaurant shop.
