Richard and Lori decided it was time to return to their roots—back to the original location, hands-on once again, with three generations working under one roof. Here, they continue learning from the family matriarch, carrying forward the history shared by their father, and making the heartfelt decision to focus on the original Poor Boy’s Riverside Inn.

Both locations have witnessed Acadiana’s growth and prosperity, and countless memories have been made in New Iberia. From birthday celebrations and business deals to proposals, reunions, and weddings, our doors have welcomed it all. Many couples who first celebrated their receptions here now return year after year to honor their anniversaries with us.

With a renewed outlook, fresh energy, and exciting plans for the future, Richard and Lori are eager to write the next chapter of Riverside’s story.
