76th Street Truck Stop Diner has been a labor of love since it officially opened in 2014, founded by Patricia Dunneback. Patty began working at the diner back in 2004, during which time it operated under three different names. Over the years, and with strong encouragement from her friends and family, she took a leap of faith and made her longtime dream a reality. In April 2014, she took over, gave the entire place a full remodel, refreshed the menu, and reimagined the business model.

What started as a local diner quickly grew into a well-known destination that’s now open 24/7, 365 days a year. It’s a reliable go-to for everyone—from truck drivers passing through to families, friends, and loyal locals. It didn’t take long before Michigan’s Best recognized the diner as one of the top 10 in the state.

In 2023, Patty expanded her dream even further by opening a second location in Coopersville, Michigan. Along with the expansion came a rebrand to 76 Diner, but the mission has stayed the same: to serve hearty, high-quality meals in generous portions, at fair prices, and in a warm, family-friendly setting—any hour of the day.
