After spending years sailing the open waters, Ann Derrick and Brendan Burrows settled ashore in 1991 and brought their vision of the perfect harbor stop to life. Their goal was simple: create a place that travelers—like themselves—would be delighted to discover. That meant fresh-baked bread, crisp vegetables, hearty salads, and truly satisfying meals made with care.

For 25 years, they poured their hearts into building a warm, welcoming spot known for great food and a charming nautical vibe. When it came time to pass the torch, they left the legacy in trusted hands—those of their son, Cos Burrows, and longtime team member, Cady Hall.

Today, Cos and Cady continue the tradition of using local, fresh ingredients and maintaining the inviting seaside feel that guests have loved for decades. They’ve added a few modern updates along the way, but the spirit of the place remains unchanged.

Next door, the beloved Pine Cone ice cream shop is still serving up sweet treats—and now, it's expanding with the addition of a bakery in the space that once housed Glen Arbor Botanicals.
