About Smash Park

Let’s rewind to 2018. The Eagles finally brought home a Super Bowl win, Elon Musk launched a car into orbit just because he could—and Monty and Kerri Lockyear were busy crafting a bold new idea. They wanted to create something fresh. Something fun. Something social, active, and completely unique.

After exploring a variety of possibilities, one activity stood out from the rest: pickleball. It’s easy to learn, gets people moving, and best of all—it’s a game where making friends (and maybe trading a little friendly trash talk) is part of the experience.

But the vision didn’t stop there. What if you added over-the-top events, live entertainment, chef-driven food, and craft cocktails you won’t find anywhere else? That’s when everything came together—and Smash Park was born. A one-of-a-kind destination where every visit offers something new, and you’re encouraged to create your own kind of fun.

Our very first Smash Park opened in West Des Moines, Iowa, and the energy quickly spread. We’ve since brought the party to Roseville, Minnesota and La Vista, Nebraska—with Westerville, Ohio and more exciting locations on the way.
