My journey from Farm to Fork began in 1996 with my first job off the family dairy farm—as a dishwasher at Old Erie Restaurant in Weedsport. Under the guidance of Dave and Eileen Gibson, I discovered a passion for hospitality and worked there through high school and college. When the restaurant was sold, I hoped to buy it, but the timing wasn’t right.
I spent the next 16 years in hotel sales and operations, living across the country and gaining valuable experience. Eventually, I felt the pull to return home and pursue my dream of owning a restaurant—something the pandemic helped bring into focus.
In October 2021, we opened Potters Farm to Fork in the renovated Brenda’s Diner. The transition from a desk job to the kitchen was intense, but with my family's support, we found our rhythm. I’m proud of the team we’ve built and the welcoming atmosphere we’ve created.
Nearly a year in, I’m grateful for our loyal guests, renewed hometown connections, and the chance to give back through community efforts like Thankful Thursdays and the Fire House Frettas.
