About Pelican's Reef

Chef and owner John Broshar was a regular customer of the Pelican’s Reef when it opened 25 years ago.

 He and his wife Patti bought into the restaurant seventeen years ago and are now sole owners since 2012. John and his team have created a robust menu with seafood as the main attraction. The menu is inspired by the seasonal availability of seafood obtained daily. The vibe of the Pelican’s Reef is laid-back island style with Jimmy Buffett tunes playing in the background and lots of kitschy signage. Much of the “artwork” has been donated by loyal customers who bring back trinkets from their tropical vacations. The restaurant and the menu are both family friendly. Stop in for an ice cold beer and a platter of oysters or some peel-and-eat shrimp!
