Scramblers got its start in 1989 when Phil and Shain Buerk opened the first location on Secor Road in Toledo, Ohio. Originally named Cafe Marie, after Shaine's mom Deby Marie, family was at the heart of everything Scramblers did. Using Phil's original recipes and their combined years of restaurant experience, Scramblers quickly became known as the 'best breakfast in town.'
As Scramblers gained popularity, both Shain's brother Brandon and his cousin Tim came on board to assist with operations. With their help, the company grew and new locations were opened in the Maumee, Findlay, and Columbus Ohio areas. Since then, our Scramblers family has grown to over 700 members. Today, Scramblers has over 25 restaurants, serving guests in Southeast Michigan and all over Ohio - and we're still growing. Each location is like family -- locally owned and operated and committed to impressing you, our guest, with delicious food and superior service.
