The Forum is proudly owned and operated by Alex Theodosopoulos, whose roots in the restaurant industry trace all the way back to 1931. Born into a Greek family where the kitchen was truly the heart of the home, Alex was raised on a deep love of food, tradition, and hospitality. For the Theodosopoulos family, meals weren’t just about nourishment—they were a celebration of culture, family, and connection.
From a young age, Alex was immersed in the family business. He didn’t begin his journey as a chef, but rather learned the ropes through hard work and dedication. At just eight years old, he started cutting French fries, then gradually moved on to baking pies and prepping ingredients. By the time he was strong enough, he was bussing tables. At 15, he became a cook in the family restaurant—an experience that laid the foundation for his future in the culinary world.
Alex later pursued a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, equipping him with the skills to manage and eventually lead operations at Theo’s Restaurant, a beloved family-run eatery. In 1986, during a National Greek Convention in Colorado, Alex met Karen—his future wife. Karen brings her own impressive background to the table, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Mathematics. She has devoted her career to education, complementing Alex’s passion for food and business with a shared commitment to excellence and community.
What sets The Forum apart is Alex’s unwavering dedication to quality. He insists on sourcing the freshest local ingredients available and steers clear of processed or prepackaged items. Many of the dishes served are made entirely from scratch, based on time-honored family recipes passed down through generations. These recipes capture the rich textures and bold flavors that have come to define The Forum’s signature offerings.
