About The Boat Fish & Chips

Originally launched in 2002 as a floating seafood restaurant in Winchester Bay, Oregon, Unger’s Bay quickly became a favorite for fresh, flavorful seafood enjoyed right on the water. For 15 years, guests gathered aboard to savor fish and chips and other coastal classics in a setting unlike any other.

In 2017, the restaurant made the move from water to land, but one thing hasn’t changed—the commitment to serving the same delicious food that kept people coming back year after year. Now known as The Boat Fish & Chips, we carry on that tradition with crispy, golden fish and chips, fresh seafood, and hearty coastal comfort foods that highlight the best of Oregon’s shores.

Our new space offers the same relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating to fit every mood. Guests especially love our dog-friendly covered deck, where you can enjoy your meal outdoors with your four-legged friends by your side.
