A rush of sizzle and a chorus of crunch greet you at Krazy Katsu’s Olmos Park outpost. The service line hums under string lights and the patio carries the low thump of anime-night playlists; diners trade spicy bites and laugh over oversized sandwiches. The space feels like a high-energy neighborhood hangout where panko flakes float like confetti and the scent of frying oil, kewpie, and toasted brioche hangs in the air. The menu is anchored by herb-brined, panko-crusted chicken used in sliders and full sandwich builds—the DNA (Do Not Attempt) and Deebo sandwiches are local legends—alongside pandan smash burgers, kimchi fries, Bang-Bang chicken bowls and loaded mac-and-cheese plates. Co-owners Phillip and Jessica Gonyea launched the concept from a social-media-fueled challenge and have since taken the kitchen into city events.
